If I feel like hunting rare items(uniques/sets/socketables) I dust off my summon necro and attack the pits in act1 tamoe highland or the world stone keep/baal(need a tad bit better equip for wsk & light resist)Ī lot of people use hammerdins to MF but I have never tried so do a search for hammerdin + MF I stick with a pure blizzard build and run meph/pindle/andy/countess(have to have merc help for countess) because it is extremly fast. Im sure there are plenty of viable sorcs and a wide range of ways to mf with them, but I do not like to play them all that much. Meph/andy/ancient tunnels/pindle = blizzard or orb/meteor sorc
Gernerally for sorcs you decide what you want farm then make a sorc to match I like these necros because you can play them naked and still beat hell, so its real easy to stack MF on themĮdit: smiters would make for some slow farming unless you want to hunt D-clone and ubers(need high Crushing blow I think) My prefrence for starting from scratch and farming is a summon necromancer how much time to you want to invest in farming? do you already have some high level chars? It all depends on where you are starting from?
